A new era of Crowd Sourcing

With good noises appearing left, right and centre - Gigwalk is definitely worth a look into for an insight into how many may look to their phones as a possible revenue stream. It’s an extremely interesting model which has been better summarised by Alice Truong in the New York Journal this week.

Perhaps a hard slog for Gigwalkers early on, there’s no doubting that with an increase in ‘StreetCred’ and a more familiar approach to the ‘Gigs’ themselves, a fair bit of money can be made here. The real point though is how Gigwalk’s model could go a long way in setting an example for the way in which huge amounts of data are crowd sourced in the future.
